Monsignor Bartlett Memorial Arena

Monsignor Bartlett Memorial Arena is an indoor arena located in the town of Wabana on Bell Island, Newfoundland and Labrador. The arena was formally opened March 4, 1957 (the arena first held games the previous November). The arena was to be named the Bell Island Arena, but it was changed prior to opening when Monsignor George F. Bartlett passed away on September 22, 1956.  Monsignor Bartlett was the backbone to much of the sport in the community and was overseeing the construction of the arena.  The facility replaced the Wabana Arena which served the community from 1913 until the opening of this arena.

The arena is home to the Bell Island Blues of the Avalon East Senior Hockey League and was home to the Bell Island Jr. Blues of the St. John's Junior Hockey League from 1996 to 2010.
