Mitch Maunu (born July 30, 1986 in Thunder Bay, Ontario) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman. Maunu was drafted by the Windsor Spitfires in the 1st Round, 10th overall in 2002. He went on to become their captain.[1] He then went on to play for in the ECHL and American Hockey League before returning to his hometown of Thunder Bay to play for Lakehead University.[2]
