The Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders are a Men's Division III team in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association since 2013 when The NCHA had merged with the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association which was their home since the program since achieving varsity status in 1998.
A women's program was announced on November 30, 2021. Chad Davis was announced as the team's first head coach on December 17, 2021.[1] The team will likely begin with the 2022-23 or 2023-24 playing seasons.

The program was established for the 1994-95 season as a club hockey team and was elevated to varsity status for the 1998-99 season.
