Michael Walsh (born January 12, 1983 in Northville, Michigan) is an American professional ice hockey forward.
Playing career[]
Walsh was drafted 143rd overall by the New York Rangers in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.[1] Prior to advancing to the professional ranks, Walsh played both junior hockey and college hockey. He played his collegiate hockey at University of Notre Dame.[2]
Personal life[]
Michael Walsh was born January 12, 1983 in Northville, Michigan to parents Max and Jean Walsh. He has one brother. His father, Max was a member of the 1973 University of Notre Dame National Championship Football team.
