Michael Dwyer (born September 16, 1957 in Brampton, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward. Dwyer was drafted by both the Colorado Rockies in the 5th round, 74th overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft and by the Houston Aeros in the 10th round, 82nd overall of the 1977 WHA Entry Draft.

He played junior hockey for the Windsor Spitfires and the Niagara Falls Flyers from 1975 to 1977. In 1977 he turned pro with the Phoenix Roadrunners (CHL) and the Hampton Gulls. The next season Dwyer earned his first NHL callup with the Rockies, scoring 2 goals and 3 assists in 12 games. He played another 10 games for the Rockies the following season.

In 1980 he signed as a free agent with the Calgary Flames but only got into 9 games over 2 seasons for the NHL team. He retired in 1983.

Dwyer played 31 National Hockey League games for the Rockies and the Calgary Flames over parts of four seasons between 1978–79 and 1981–82, recording two goals and six assists. He also played in one playoff game and scored a goal.
