Michele Strazzabosco (b. February 5th 1976 in Asiago, Italy) is a professional defenseman who plays in the Serie A for the AS Asiago Hockey. Before joining Milano, he had spent 12 seasons with the AS Asiago Hockey.
One of the best Italian players, Strazzabosco is a regular member of the Italian National Team. He took part in eight World Championships, as well as to the 2006 Olympic Games.
His solid play in the 2006 Olympics caught the attention of North American scouts, and earned him the chance to be invited to the Buffalo Sabres' 2006 training camp, thus becoming, along with his countrymate Thomas Tragust, one of the very rare, if not first, Italian born and trained players to participate in an NHL training camp. He however failed to secure a spot on the strong Sabres' lineup, nor in the Rochester Americans'; he returned to Italy before the season began.
