Michel Periard (born on November 10, 1979, in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian defenceman playing for Adler Mannheim in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

He played junior hockey for the Shawinigan Cataractes and the Rimouski Océanic from 1997 to 2000. The Ottawa Senators chose him 188th overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.

Periard turned pro in 2000-01 with the Port Huron Border Cats. He played in the minor pros in North America until 2005.

In that year he went to Germany to join the Nuremberg Ice Tigers. Periard played for four seasons and then joined the Frankfurt Lions in 2009-10. In 2010-11 Periard went to Adler Mannheim after the Lions folded.
