The Merrimack Warriors are a men's hockey team and a women's hockey team representing Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. The men's team is a member of Hockey East which they joined for the 1989-90 season when the program jumped from Division II to Division I and the women's team has also been a member of Hockey East since the program was started for the 2015-16 season. The teams are based out of the J. Thom Lawler Arena which is part of the Volpe Complex which is located on the college's campus. Both teams use the Gallant Arena, which opened in May of 2013, as a practice facility.
The athletic programs at the college is Division 1 in all sports
