Megan Miller has represented the United States in international tournaments. She claimed a gold medal at the 2011 IIHF World Women’s Under-18 Championship. In autumn of 2011, she committed to play NCAA hockey at Boston College.

Playing career[]

Miller has played hockey in Michigan and in her native Illinois while sandwiching in two years at the North American Hockey Academy (NAHA). She led the Chicago Mission to four consecutive Illinois state championships. While in Michigan, Miller claimed the Under 16 Michigan state championship. In addition, she played for Detroit Belle Tire in the Midwest Elite Hockey League (MWEHL). In the 2008-09 MWEHL season, Miller accumulated 28 shutouts, complimented by a win loss record of 61 wins, compared to only 9 losses and 4 ties. As a junior at the North American Hockey Academy, Miller won 38 games, while losing only 11 and getting 8 ties. In addition, she registered a save percentage of .932 while posting a 1.68 goals against average. In her senior season, Miller registered 23 shutouts, while posting a.970 save percentage. Her won loss record was 35-4-2. [1]
