Matthew Spiller (born February 7, 1983 in Daysland, Alberta) is a former professional ice hockey defenceman.
Spiller played junior for the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League and won the WHL Plus-Minus Award in 2002-03.
Drafted 31st overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, he turned pro after his junior career ended in 2003. Spiller saw limited duty with the Coyotes in 2003-04 with no points in 51 games.
He spent the next three seasons with the Coyotes' affiliates and then signed as a free agent with the New York Islanders in 2007. Two more seasons in the minor leagues saw Spiller join the Liberec Bili Tygri HC in the Czech Republic for the 2009-10 season.
He last played for the Bloomington Prairie Thunder of the International Hockey League
