Matt Carmichael (b. Born on July 26, 1977 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a professional hockey goaltender.
Matt was named second team All-SPHL in the 2006-07 season when he went 26-19-3 with a 3.40 goals against average and a 90.3 save percentage. Matt was also named the SPHL Player of the Year in 2005-06 after leading the league with a 2.75 GAA and a 91.9 save percentage and finished the season with 23-11-2 record. He was named SEHL Goalie of the Year, All-Star and Championship Series MVP in 2003-04 with the Huntsville Channel Cats of the (SPHL). Played in 106 junior games and had a 23-43-9 record. Has stops with the Hull Olympiques (1994-97), North Bay Centennials (1996-98), Roanoke Express (1996-97), Louisville Riverfrogs (1997-98), Port Huron Border Cats (1998-99), Huntsville Channel Cats (1999-2000, 2003-2004)), Huntsville Tornado (2000-2001), San Antonio Iguanas (2001-02), El Paso Buzzards (2002-03) and Tulsa Oilers (2002-03).
