The UMass-Boston Beacons are a Women's Division III ice hockey team representing the University of Massachusetts-Boston, located in Boston, Massachusetts from the Little East Conference. The team is based out of Edward T. Barry Ice Rink, which is located on the school's campus. The women's program was established for the 2003-2004 season. The team has won the NEHC tournament title in 2016.
With plans for the Little East Conference to begin sponsoring women's hockey in 2025-26, UMass Boston, as a core member of the LEC, would exit the disbanding NEHC to play hockey it its all-sports league.
