The Mason City Toros are a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Mason City, Iowa. The NA3HL team commenced play with the 2011-12 season with the name North Iowa Bulls. The team name was changed with the 2021-22 season when the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League were relocated to Mason City. Both teams have the same ownership.

They play in the North American 3 Hockey League at the Mason City MPA which opened in December of 2019 after previously playing at the North Iowa Ice Arena.

Arrival of North American Hockey League Team[]

With the opening of the new arena, team owners decided to move the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League to the arena for the 2021-22 playing season.

Championship Pedigree[]

The team has won four North American 3 Hockey League playoff championships (2013, 2014, 2016, 2021) and would reach the final in 2015. The team would also win the 2013 USA Hockey Tier III Junior National Championship and the 2015 USA Hockey Tier III Junior National Championship and would reach the national championship game in 2014.
