Martin Alphonsos "Marty" Burke (January 28, 1905 in Toronto, Ontario – February 3, 1968) was a defenceman in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Black Hawks, and Ottawa Senators (original). He was on two Stanley Cup championship teams in 1930 and 1931 with Montreal.
He played junior hockey with the Toronto St Marys of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) in 1923-24. Burke then joined the senior OHA Stratford Indians in 1924-25 and 1925-26 and the senior Port Arthur team in 1926-27.
In 1927-28 he joined the Montreal Canadiens with whom he played until 1934 with the exception of brief loans to the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Ottawa Senators.
In 1934 he was traded to the Chicago Black Hawks and played there until the middle of the 1937-38 season. Burke was traded back to the Canadiens and retired at the end of that season.
