Mark Richardson (born on October 3, 1986 in Swindon) is an English professional ice hockey defenceman currently signed to the Cardiff Devils of the EIHL.

Richardson began his career with his hometown team the Swindon Lynx. In 2003, Richardson moved to the Bracknell Bees in a two year spell. Richardson's good performances during the 2004-05 season, which included 9 goals and 18 assists for 27 points, saw him move to the Elite League for the Cardiff Devils. His first season of 10 points in 30 games was impressive for an Elite League rookie, but his second season saw him collect 33 points, including 24 assists in 54 games. Richardson moved to the Nottingham Panthers in 2007, in what was a slightly disappointing season for him, but still managed to collect 20 points in 46 games. In 2008, Richardson signed with the Basingstoke Bison, but he moved back to Nottingham mid-season. After the end of the 2008-09 Richardson re-signed for the Cardiff Devils.

Richardson participated at the 2003 World U18 Championship Division I, 2003, 2004 and 2006 World Junior Championships Division II, 2004 World U18 Championship Division II, 2005 World Junior Championship Division I, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 World Championships Division I, 2012, 2013 and 2018 World Championships Division IA, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 World Championships Division IB and at the 2019 World Championship as a member of the British National Team.
