Mark Hudak (born January 18, 1966 in Lake Placid, New York) is a former American ice hockey defenseman and coach.
Playing Career[]
He was a member of the Army Black Knights men's ice hockey team in 1985-86, 1986-87, and 1988-89. He would score 7 goals and add 23 assists.
Coaching Career[]
He would serve as an assistant coach with the Cortland Red Dragons men's ice hockey team for the 1992-93 season. He would serve as the head coach at New Hampton School in New Hampton, New Hampshire from 1993-94 to 1995-96. He would work for the National Sports Academy in various roles for the 1996-97 and 1997-98 seasons. He would serve as an assistant coach of the Dartmouth Big Green women's ice hockey from 1998 to 2001 when he was named associate head coach and then became head coach in 2003, serving in that position until 2016 compiling a 224-153-33 record. He would serve as head coach of the Kimball Union Academy girls hockey teams for the 2019-20 season. He would serve as an assistant coach for the United States women's national ice hockey team at the 2011 IIHF Women's World Championship, winning a gold medal in the process.
