Mark Hamway (born August 9, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan) is a retired professional ice hockey forward who played 53 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the New York Islanders.

He played junior hockey for the Windsor Spitfires in 1978-79 and then played college hockey for the Michigan State Spartans from 1979 to 1983. Hamway was named an all-star in 1981-82. The New York Islanders chose him 143rd overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.

Hamway turned pro in 1983-84 with the Springfield Indians. In 1984-85 he was called up for two games with the Islanders. Over the next two seasons he saw part-time action with New York. He played in a total of 53 NHL games and scored 5 goals and 13 assists.

He retired in 1987.
