Mark Botell (born August 27, 1961 in Scarborough, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey Defenceman. He played in 32 National Hockey League (NHL) games with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 1981–82 season, scoring 4 goals and 10 assists.
He played junior for the Niagara Falls Flyers, Windsor Spitfires, and the Brantford Alexanders, all of the Ontario Hockey League.
The Philadelphia Flyers chose him 168th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Despite his big size and toughness, there was a concern over his lack of speed. Botell played 32 games for the Flyers in 1980-81, but that was the extent of his NHL career. He played for various minor pro teams (and one season in the Netherlands) before retiring in 1986.
