The Maritime Senior Hockey League was a senior competition played in the Maritimes during the 1991-92 season. The league appears to have taken the place of the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League (1982-1995) for the one season it existed as that league did not play for the 1991-92 season. The Dartmouth Mounties joined from that league and both Darmouth and the Truro Bearcats would play in that league for the 1992-93 season. It appears the Charlottetown Islanders won the league championship as they played in the 1992 Bolton Cup (for the Eastern Region spot in the 1992 Allan Cup) they won the series 3 games to 2 against the Saint John Vito's to advance to the Allan Cup. They would go 1-2-0 in the round robin and advance to the semifinal where they lost 5-1 to the Stony Plain Eagles.
