Marissa Brandt (born 18 December 1992), also known as Park Yoon-jung, is a Korean-American ice hockey player who plays on the South Korean national team. When playing for the South Korean or the unified Korean national team, she uses her birth name, which is Park Yoon-jung.
Career[]
Across 4 seasons at Gustavus Adolphus College, she put up 34 points in 111 games.[1]
She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics on the unified Korean national team.[2]
After the 2018 Olympics, she was named an honorary ambassador to help promote post-adoption services and birth family searches by the South Korean Minister for Health & Welfare Park Neung-hoo.[3]
Personal Life[]
She is the adopted sister of Hannah Brandt.[4][5] In her youth, she was a figure skater before switching to hockey.[6]
