Marek Židlický (b. February 3rd 1977, in Most, Czechoslovakia), is a professional defenseman playing for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League.

He was originally drafted to the NHL by the New York Rangers 176th in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Židlický was dealt to the Predators along with Rem Murray and Tomas Kloucek for Mike Dunham when it became evident Židlický would never sign with the Rangers, as they refused to give him the two-way contract he wanted. He joined Nashville in 2003 and immediately became a key contributor.
