Marek Ďaloga (born on March 10, 1989 in Zvolen) is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing with the HC Kometa Brno of the Tipsport Extraliga.
Club career[]
Ďaloga began his senior career in the 2006-07 season when he played 2 regular season games and 5 play-off games with the HKM Zvolen of the Slovnaft Extraliga and 20 games with the HK Detva of the 1. Hokejová Liga SR.
In the 2007-08 season, he played 30 games with the HK VSR SR 20 of the Slovnaft Extraliga and 6 play-off games with the HKM Zvolen of the Slovnaft Extraliga.
In the next season, Ďaloga played 14 regular season games and 8 play-off games with the HKM Zvolen of the Slovnaft Extraliga, 2 games with the HK Detva of the 1. Hokejová Liga SR and 18 games with the HK Orange 20 (formerly HK VSR SR 20) of the Slovnaft Extraliga.
In the 2009-10 season played Ďaloga 4 games with the HKM Zvolen of the Slovnaft Extraliga, 39 games with the HK Spišská Nová Ves of the Slovnaft Extraliga and 1 game with the HK Detva of the 1. Hokejová Liga SR.
In the 2010-11 season, he played 55 regular season games and 7 play-off games with the HKM Zvolen of the Slovnaft Extraliga and 1 play-off games with the HK Detva of the 1. Hokejová Liga SR.
Ďaloga continued with the HKM Zvolen of the Tipsport Extraliga (formerly Slovnaft Extraliga) in the 2011-12 season.
In 2012 - 2014, he played with the HC ČSOB Pojišťovna Pardubice of the Czech Tipsport Extraliga.
In the 2014-15 season played Ďaloga with the HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Tipsport Extraliga.
In 2015, Ďaloga signed with the Ak Bars Kazan of the KHL.
After one season with the Ak Bars Kazan, Ďaloga spent the 2016-17 season with the HC Slovan Bratislava of the KHL.
Ďaloga then began the 2017-18 season with the Kunlun Red Star of the KHL but after 34 games played, he moved to the HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Tipsport Extraliga where he finished the season with 15 regular season games and 3 play-off games played.
In the 2018-19 season played Ďaloga with the Mora IK of the SHL.
Ďaloga then began the 2019-20 season with the HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Tipsport Extraliga. He played there 17 games before he moved to the Dinamo Riga of the KHL. He finished there this season with 21 games played.
At the beginning of the 2020-21 season played Ďaloga 1 game with the HKM Zvolen of the Tipos Extraliga (formerly Slovak Tipsport Extraliga) after which he moved to the HC Dynamo Pardubice (formerly HC ČSOB Pojišťovna Pardubice) of the Tipsport Extraliga where he finished the season with 44 regular season games and 6 play-off games played.
In 2021, Ďaloga signed a one-year contract with the HC Kometa Brno of the Tipsport Extraliga.
International career[]
Ďaloga played with the Slovak National Team at the 2006 World U17 Hockey Challenge, 2007 World U18 Championship (being named there one of the top 3 players on the Slovak team), 2008 and 2009 World Junior Championships, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019 World Championships (being named one of the top 3 players on the Slovak squad at the 2014 tournament) and at the 2018 Olympics.
