Marco Joseph Baron (born April 4, 1959 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the NHL with the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, and Edmonton Oilers.
He played junior for the Montreal Juniors of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 1975-79.
Baron started his pro career as a Boston Bruins prospect, but did not play much for them except for the 1981-82 NHL season.
In subsequent seasons he played for the Los Angeles Kings and the Edmonton Oilers but did not become a first-stringer. He left the NHL in 1985 to play for HC Ambri-Piotta in Switzerland.
Baron retired in 1986 and became a coach. He has settled in Switzerland.
