Madison Packer has competed for the United States National women's ice hockey team in numerous tournaments. Currently she competes for the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey program.
Playing career[]
At Birmingham Marian high school, Canadian Breann Frykas and Madison Packer played together. They would also compete for their respective countries in the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation’s Women’s under-18 World Championship in Germany.[1] In addition, she competed for the U19 AAA Little Caesars hockey team in Detroit. She competed in the USA Hockey National Tournament bronze medal winner as a freshman in 2007 and silver medal winner as a sophomore in 2008. Packer also played goalie in lacrosse in high school
NCAA[]
On October 8, 2010, Packer made her collegiate debut in a 7-1 win over Bemidji State. [2] She scored her first collegiate point November 19 in a game against the Robert Morris Colonials.
USA Hockey[]
She was a two-time International Ice Hockey Federation World Women's U18 Championships participant. Her first tournament was in 2008 (in Calgary, Alberta), followed by 2009 (in Fussen, Germany). She was a USA Hockey Women's National Festival participant with the U.S. Women's U-18 Team in 2008. At this Festival were current Badgers Alev Kelter and Brianna Decker.
