This is the 1949-50 season and playoffs of the Maritime Senior Hockey League (1947-50).
The Amherst Ramblers replaced the Dartmouth Arrows who had folded. The Ramblers started the season playing home games at Mount Allison University in Sackville until Amherst's new arena was opened. That occured on November 29th when the Ramblers played their 26th game.
