The Bridgewater Memorial Arena was a 1,200 seat multi-purpose arena in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. It served as home to the South Shore Lumberjacks ice hockey team of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, among a myriad of other junior, senior, minor, and rec hockey teams during its operational lifetime. The arena opened in 1949 and closed following the 2015 season.
The successor arena facility in Bridgewater is the Lunenburg County Lifestlye Centre (LCLC). The multi-use rink, swimming, and recreation facility was opened in 2014. It is currently the only arena in Bridgewater. Original designs for the complex considered the construction of two ice surfaces at the LCLC, however because of cost pressures related to the construction of the facility, plans for the build out of the second ice surface were postponed indefinitely.
