The Long Beach Bombers are a USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior A ice hockey team in Midwest Division of the Western States Hockey League. The team plays their home games at the Glacial Garden Skating Arena in Lakewood, California, California.
History
Before moving to Tier III junior hockey The Jr. Blues competed in Junior "B" hockey from 1995 until 2007 when the team and WSHL was upgraded to Tier III Jr. A status. The team joined the league in 1995 as the 'Southern California Jr. Bombers in 2006 the team became the Bay City Bombers at the conclusion of the 2009-10 season the team reverted back to its roots becoming the Southern California Bombers.
The team again changed its name to the Long Beach Bombers in 2011.
