List of New Brunswick Junior Playoffs Champions

The following is a List of New Brunswick Junior Playoffs Champions.

Hockey in the province was under the authority of the Maritime Amateur Hockey Association which oversaw hockey in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as well. In many years New Brunswick and PEI would be combined into the Northern Section of the MAHA or their provincial champions would meet in the semifinal round of the Maritimes playoffs with the winner facing the Nova Scotia Champion.

Notes

1. The Maritime Amateur Hockey Association was formed in 1928, but; did not participate in the Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs until the 1931-32 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs. The 1930-31 Maritimes Junior Playoffs was an unofficial tournament.
2. The Amherst Ramblers were from Nova Scotia but were entered in what would be considered the Northern Section of the Maritime Amateur Hockey Association for the 1943-44 season, this was likely done to cut down on travel for teams and to somewhat balance the playoffs as six other Nova Scotia teams entered the Nova Scotia Provincial Playoffs while only two New Brunswick teams entered. They defeated the Fredericton Oddfellows in the New Brunswick Final. They were unable to participate in the 1943-44 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs due to being unable to raise the financial guarantee for their semifinal opponent, the Montreal Junior Royals.
3. The 1944-45 Maritimes Junior Playoffs champions Moncton Bruins were unable to participate in the 1944-45 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs due to being unable to raise the financial guarantee for their semifinal opponent, the Montreal Junior Royals.
4. The Moncton Beavers played as a member of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League (1968–1971) for the 1968-69 season and were the only team in the province. The league itself contained one team from each of the three maritime provinces and they were the only teams eligible for the 1968-69 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs and the league playoff champion Halifax Canadiens won the league playoffs. Moncton lost in the Semifinal round
