This page documents Canadian Interbranch Junior B Competitions under the supervision of Hockey Canada. Junior "B" is the third tier of junior level competition in Canada, but prior to 1970 it was considered the second tier.

Current Competitions[]

The current competitions held by Hockey Canada are the Don Johnson Cup (Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia) and the Keystone Cup (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, and Northern Ontario). Quebec does not compete in interbranch play, as their own leagues compete for Hockey Quebec's Coupe Dodge. Southern Ontario does not compete in interbranch play and is regarded as a higher level of play than other Junior B leagues, more akin with Tier II Junior "A". Southern Ontario teams are members of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League and compete for the Ontario Hockey Association's Sutherland Cup. Also, the Ottawa District does not compete in interbranch play. All of the Ottawa District Hockey Association's teams are members of the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 and compete for the D. Arnold Carson Memorial Trophy.
