The Lethbridge Arena was an indoor arena located in Lethbridge, Alberta.  The arena opened in 1922 or 1923.  It was the first indoor arena in the community. It used natural ice until the installation of ice making equipment in 1936. It would serve as the home to the Lethbridge Maple Leafs, Lethbridge Native Sons, and the Lethbridge Sugar Kings.  The arena had a capacity of 2,400. The arena was extensively renovated in 1965. The arena would be destroyed by a fire which started at about 10:30pm on March 13, 1972, which occurred during the third period of a game between the Lethbridge Sugar Kings and the Edmonton Maple Leafs during an Alberta Junior Hockey League game with 1,800 spectators in attendance. Everyone escaped the fire with several minor injuries. Damage from the fire was set at $477,458 and the building was a total loss.
