Leonard Frank "Comet" Haley (born September 15, 1931) is a professional hockey player who played for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League.
He started out in junior with the Edmonton Canadians, Wetaskiwin Canadians, and the Medicine Hat Tigers. Haley then turned joined the Glace Bay Miners of the Maritime Major Hockey League in 1951-52.
Most of his career was spent in the minor pros. He did get into 27 games with the Detroit Red Wings in 1959-60 and 3 games in 1960-61. He scored 2 goals and 2 assists. Haley also played in 6 playoff games in 1959-60, scoring 1 goal and 3 assists.
He retired in 1972, having spent most of his last four seasons in the senior amateur ranks.
