Leksands Idrotts Förening is a sports club of Sweden, based in the small town of Leksand in the region of Dalarna. Its hockey club is has a very successful background, despite the fact that Leksand only has 6000 inhabitants.
The club has won the Swedish Championship in 1969, 1973, 1974 and 1975; they were runner-ups in 1959, 1964, 1971, 1972 and 1989. Today, they play in the Allsvenskan, having been relegated from the Elitserien following the 2005-06 season.
