Laurin Braun (born on February 18, 1991 in Lampertheim) is German professional ice hockey left/right winger. He is currently playing with the Krefeld Pinguine of the DEL.

His older brother Constantin Braun also plays ice hockey.

Club career[]

Braun began his junior career in the 2005-06 season with the Eisbären Junior Berlin U16 of the Schüler-BL.

In the 2006-07 season played Braun with the Jungadler Mannheim U18 of the DNL.

Braun made his senior debut during the 2007-08 season when he played 24 games with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin U18 of the DNL and 20 games with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin of the Oberliga.

In the 2008-09 season played Braun 9 regular season games and 4 play-off games with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin U18 of the DNL, 47 games with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin of the Oberliga and 3 games with the Eisbären Berlin of the DEL.

In the next season played Braun 9 games with the Eisbären Berlin of the DEL and 42 games on loan with the Dresdner Eislöwen of the 1. Eishockey-Liga.

In the 2010-11 season, Braun played 40 regular season games and 12 play-off games with the Eisbären Berlin of the DEL and 1 game on loan with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau of the 1. Eishockey-Liga. In this season, Braun became the DEL champion and the European Trophy champion.

Braun continued with the Eisbären Berlin of the DEL until the end of the 2016-17 season. He also became the DEL champion again in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.

In 2017 - 2019 played Braun with the ERC Ingolstadt of the DEL.

Since 2019, he is playing with the Krefeld Pinguine of the DEL. He is currently signed there until the end of the 2022-23 season.

International career[]

Braun played with the German National Team at the 2008 World U17 Hockey Challenge, 2009 World U18 Championship, 2010 World Junior Championship Division I (winning there gold) and at the 2011 World Junior Championship.
