The Lakeshore Flyers were a junior team based in the western part of the Island of Montreal. This area was known as Lakeshore because it was on the shore of Lac St. Louis.

The Flyers played in the Metropolitan Montreal Junior League from 1956 through 1959 for three seasons. In each of those seasons they finished last in the league or division, making the playoffs only in 1958-59.

The team was resurrected in 1965-66 as the West Island Flyers. The name of the Lakeshore district was changed to West Island. This team also finished last.

Rey Comeau played with the Flyers in 1965-66 as the team's only alumnus in the NHL.
