Lachute is a town of about 10,000 people in western Quebec, Canada. It is about 75 kilometers northwest of Montreal.
Its location between Montreal and Ottawa meant that it sometimes entered teams in the Ottawa District Hockey Association and sometimes in the Quebec Amateur Hockey Association.
