Kimmo Kapanen (b. September 12th 1974 in Vantaa, Finland) is a retired professional goaltender who played the most part of his career in the SM-Liiga.
A product of the KalPa Kuopio system, Kapanen made his pro debuts in 1992 with KalPa. He played in Finland until 2001, year where he joined Timrå IK of the Elitserien.
He retired in 2008 due to injuries.
Kimmo is the younger brother of Sami Kapanen.
