Ken Solheim (Born - March 27, 1961 in Medicine Hat, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played 135 games in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings, and Minnesota North Stars.
He played junior hockey for the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL and was chosen 30th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He led the WHL in goals in 1980-81. Also in that season he played 5 games for the Hawks and was traded to the Minnesota North Stars.
Solheim split the 1981-82 season between the Stars and the minor pros and was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in 1982-83. He playedall of 1983-84 with the Adirondack Red Wings.
He spent the next two seasons back with the North Stars and with the Edmonton Oilers, plus a lot of time in the minors. He retired in 1986.
Solheim played in 135 NHL games, scoring 19 goals and 20 assists.
