Playing career[]
In the Swedish Top League, Jakobsen competed for Segeltorps IF. During the 2010-11 season, she led the Segaltorps to a championship. In addition, she grabbed the scoring title with 58 points, while also earning the goal-scoring title with 33 tallies.
Team Denmark[]
She has represented her native Denmark in three International Ice Hockey Federation Division II Women's World Championships (in 2008, 2009 and 2011, respectively). Jakobsen ranked second in the 2011 tournament in scoring with seven points in four games, while her six goals tied for first overall. At the 2008 tournament, she registered thirteen points (six goals, seven assists), while she tallied four goals at the 2009 tournament.
