Johan Witehall (born January 7, 1972 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a retired professional ice hockey right winger who played 54 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens.

Witehall played seven seasons in Sweden before being chosen 207th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.

He played mostly for the Hartford Wolf Pack, winning the Calder Cup in 2000. He also played in 28 games for the Rangers over three seasons (1998 to 2001). In mid-season 2000-01, he was claimed on waivers by the Montreal Canadiens, playing 26 games for them that season.

In 2001 Witehall returned to Europe, playing for teams in Germany, Switzerland, and his native Sweden. He retired in 2006.

In 54 NHL games, Witehall scored 2 goals and 5 assists.
