Joseph Fields (b. September 28, 1984 in Towamencin Township, Pennsylvania, United States).
Fields played college hockey with Franklin Pierce University (NCAA - ECAC Northeast). He played in 83 games from 2004-08. In his senior year (2007-08), serving as the team's captain, he was one of six Ravens to appear in all 25 games and set new program single-season records with 15 goals (2nd NE-10) and 31 points (3rd NE-10). Fields finished his stellar four-year college career as the program leader in career goals (37), assists (49) and points (86), as well as in all three single-season totals.
On March 8, 2008 Fields signed with his first professional team, the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). On March 18, 2008 Fields was released from Huntsville so he could return to Franklin Pierce University and finish the spring semester.
