Joe Contini (Born - January 29, 1957 in Guelph, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played 68 games in the National Hockey League for the Colorado Rockies and Minnesota North Stars.

He played junior for the Hamilton Fincups and the St. Catharines Fincups. In 1976 he won the Memorial Cup with Hamilton, setting a Cup record with 6 points in one game. He also was on Canada's team at the 1977 World Junior Championship.

The Colorado Rockies selected him 126th overall in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft. In 1977-78 he was able to score 12 goals in just 37 games with the Rockies, but his total dipped to just five the next season.

Contini signed as a free agent with the Minnesota North Stars in 1980, but only played one game for that team. He retired in 1982 after spending time in the minors.
