Jiro Nihei (b. March 9th 1971 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a professional goaltender who plays in the Asia League for the Nippon Paper Cranes.

Born in Sweden, Jiro began his professional career for Elitserien-sided AIK IF in 1988. He would play again in the Elitserien in 2001 with Djurgårdens IF; between these times, he played mainly in the Swedish Division 2. He is now a star in the Asia League, playing for the land of his ancestors with the Cranes.

Nihei has taken part in various international competitions with the Japanese National Team.

Jiro's brother Taro is a forward.
