Pro Career 1967 – 1977

James Boviard Stanfield (January 1, 1947 – November 19, 2009) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Born in Mississauga, Ontario, he played in 7 NHL games for the Los Angeles Kings in parts of three seasons.

Stanfield played junior hockey for the St. Catharines Black Hawks (then a Chicago Black Hawks farm team) and the London Nationals from 1964 to 1967. He played for the Dallas Black Hawks from 1967 until February, 1970, when he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings.

He was called up for a total of seven games (recording one assist) for the Kings over three seasons. Other than that he played in the minor pros until his retirement in 1977.
