Samuel James "Sugar Jim" Henry (October 23, 1930 - January 20, 2004) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the New York Rangers, Chicago Black Hawks and the Boston Bruins.
Legacy[]
He is most well remembered due to a photograph taken after game 7 of the 1952 Stanley Cup semifinal series of him shaking hands with Maurice Richard in which he is sporting a black eye and Richard is bleeding from around his left eye.
