Jimdrummond

James Henry Drummond (b. October 20, 1918 in Toronto, Ontario - d. December 12, 1950) is a former Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He played 2 games in the NHL for the New York Rangers.

He played junior hockey for the Toronto Marlboros and the Oshawa Generals, winning the Memorial Cup in 1939 with the Generals.

After that season, Drummond played senior hockey for the Toronto Goodyears and the senior Toronto Marlboros in the Ontario Hockey Association and the Cornwall Flyers and Cornwall Army in the Quebec Senior Hockey League. He was in the Canadian military in 1943-44.

In December, 1944, Drummond was signed as a free agent by the New York Rangers. He played in two games for them in 1944-45 and spent time with the New York Rovers and Hershey Bears. Drummond spent four more seasons in the American Hockey League and retired in 1949.
