Jenna Hendrikx is a Canadian womens ice hockey player that competed for the Niagara Purple Eagles.

Playing career[]

In Ottawa, she played for the St. Mark Lions’ Secondary School Tier I hockey AAA club. She was part of their championship season in 2007-08. During the 2008-09 hockey year, she played for the Ottawa Senators of the PWHL. She logged 43 points while serving as an assistant captain.

NCAA[]

As a freshman, she was named to the College Hockey America All-Rookie team. In the first game of her NCAA career (versus the St. Cloud State Huskies on October 2, 2009), Hendrikx notched a pair of goals. Hendrikx became the first freshman to lead the Purple Eagles in goals and points since Ashley Riggs accomplished the feat in the 2004-05 season. In the first four weeks of the 2009-10 season, Hendrikx led all rookies in the NCAA in goals scored. Her three game winning goals (scored on Oct. 3, Nov. 24, and Nov. 29) led all Purple Eagles. In CHA conference play, she logged four goals and seven assists for eleven points. Her seven assists and eleven points would lead all Niagara skaters that participated in CHA conference play. Her 11 goals would lead the team in her sophomore campaign, while her 14 points would rank second on the squad. On October 23, 2010 and January 21, 2011, Hendrikx would score game winning goals. In her career with Niagara, she participated in 93 games and registered 34 goals and 23 assists for 57 points. Hendrikx was one of three transfers (along with Kelsey Welch and Kaleigh Chippy from the Purple Eagles that suited up for Mercyhurst in the 2012-13 season.^[1]
