Jeff Sanger (born November 14, 1978 in Madison, Wisconsin) is a retired American ice hockey goaltender. He attended Edgewood (WI) High School. He would play one season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL for the 1997-98 season. He would then be a member of the Colorado College Tigers men's ice hockey team for the 1998-99 to 2001-02 seasons. He would graduate the college's all-time leader in wins (76) as a goaltender (a record he still holds as of the 2022-23 season). He was a member of the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) and Reading Royals for the 2002-03 season. He would then play with the Indianapolis Ice and Norfolk Admirals in 2003-04. He would then play with the Richmond RiverDogs for the 2004-05 season. He would then work as a volunteer goaltending coach for the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey team for the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. He would then attempt a comeback with the Houston Aeros (AHL) during the 2007-08 season but would not play in any games. He would then return to coaching this time as a volunteer assistant coach with the Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team.
