Jeff Kampersal (born January 27, 1970 in Beverly, Massachusetts is a retired American ice hockey defenseman. He has been a coach since his retirement from pro hockey in 1993. He was drafted by the New York Islanders as the 205th overall pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing Career

He would play for St. John's Preparatory School (Danvers, Massachusetts) graduating in 1988. He would be a four year letterman from the 1988-89 to 1991-92 season with the Princeton Tigers men's ice hockey team serving as captain during his senior season. After graduation he would play one season of professional hockey in 1992-93 as a member of the Richmond Renegades (ECHL) and Capital District Islanders. He would retire after the 1992-93 season.

Coaching Career

He would serve as the Princeton Tigers women's ice hockey team head coach from 1996-97 to 2016-17. During that period he would serve as the head coach of the United States women's national U-18 ice hockey team from 2011 to 2014. He would become head coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions women's ice hockey team in 2017. He would amass a record of 327-261-58 while at Princeton.
