Jeffrey Joseph Brubaker (born February 24, 1958 in Hagerstown, Maryland) is a retired American ice hockey forward.
He played with both the Michigan State Spartans and the Peterborough Petes. He was chosen 102nd overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
Despite that, Brubaker joined the New England Whalers of the WHA in 1978-79 and followed them into the NHL the following season. He also played with the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings.
He was a hard-nosed winger who was known more for his toughness than his goal-scoring ability. In 178 career NHL games, he scored 16 goals and 9 assists with 512 penalty minutes.
Brubaker retired after the 1989 season.
