Jean Vassieux (31 October 1949 – 29 December 2021) was a French ice hockey player.

Life and career[]

Vassieux played as a forward.[1] He was a member of the French national team and participated in the Ice Hockey World Championships in 1978 and 1979. He was a team captain from 1976 to 1979.[2] He played professionally for Ours de Villard-de-Lans[3] and was awarded the Albert Hassler Trophy in 1978. In 2013, he was inducted into the French Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.[4] He died on 29 December 2021, at the age of 72.[5][6]
